I am writing to convey my appreciative thanks for the efficient and carefully managed service that Tandem Invoice Finance has provided me with to date.

I am one of a group of highly skilled professionals who offer and provide an expert independent social work service to family courts at all levels, to local authorities and to specialist adoption and fostering agencies. This work is in the challenging field of child protection and children’s services.

I am a self employed practitioner, mentor and trainer who has established and who is maintaining a one person small business as a sole trader. The cash flow of my business depends on the processing of public purse monies by bodies such as the Legal Services Commission and local authorities etc. Until fairly recently, my business/practice was supported by my bank. That support was then removed, leaving me with inevitable cash flow problems caused not by the absence of work but by chronic delays in fee payments of ‘safe’ public purse monies which my bank was no longer interested in assisting me with.

In the absence of banking support, Tandem, to which I was introduced by a particularly helpful broker, has provided short term cash flow assistance without which my business/practice might have faced impossible problems.

I have found that Tandem has been able to offer an efficient, prompt and sound service which has met the needs of my business/practice in a reliable and incredibly positive manner. Communication is speedy and task focussed and includes clear paperwork, e mails and telephone calls as needed.

I believe that the measured, introductory stage of the partnership between Tandem and I proved particularly helpful. Malcolm Piper was clearly interested in learning about my product and in checking me out in a thorough, appropriate but always courteous manner.

Tandem appears to be promoting a refreshing and helpful ‘can do’ approach to sole traders and businesses who are working in an unhelpful and difficult economic and banking climate. I look forward to continuing to work with Tandem during 2010.
